Ingredients:
- 3 cups (270g) Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
- 1 tbsp (8g) Ground Cinnamon
- 1 tsp (5g) Baking Powder
- ½ tsp (3g) Sea Salt
- ½ cup (120ml) Pure Maple Syrup
- 1 ½ cups (360ml) Whole Milk
- 2 large (100g) Eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp (5ml) Vanilla Extract
- 3 tbsp (42g) Unsalted Butter, melted and cooled
- ½ cup (60g) Chopped Pecans
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the rolled oats, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt until the cinnamon is evenly distributed and no clumps remain.
- In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter, maple syrup, milk, beaten eggs, and vanilla. Whisk vigorously until the mixture is smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients over the oat mixture and stir until every oat is thoroughly coated.
- Fold in the chopped pecans and spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until the edges are a deep golden brown and the center feels set to a light touch.
