Ingredients:

  • 3 cups (270g) Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • 1 tbsp (8g) Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp (5g) Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp (3g) Sea Salt
  • ½ cup (120ml) Pure Maple Syrup
  • 1 ½ cups (360ml) Whole Milk
  • 2 large (100g) Eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp (5ml) Vanilla Extract
  • 3 tbsp (42g) Unsalted Butter, melted and cooled
  • ½ cup (60g) Chopped Pecans

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the rolled oats, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt until the cinnamon is evenly distributed and no clumps remain.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter, maple syrup, milk, beaten eggs, and vanilla. Whisk vigorously until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients over the oat mixture and stir until every oat is thoroughly coated.
  5. Fold in the chopped pecans and spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the edges are a deep golden brown and the center feels set to a light touch.
