Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp (32g) natural creamy or crunchy peanut butter
  • 1 medium (113g) ripe banana, sliced
  • 1 tsp (5ml) honey or pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp (0.5g) ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp (5g) chia seeds or hemp hearts

Instructions:

  1. Toast the bread slices until they reach a mahogany-colored hue and a shattering crust. If using an air fryer, toast at 400°F (200°C) for 2-3 minutes per side.
  2. While the toast is still hot, immediately spread 1 tbsp (16g) of peanut butter across each slice so the residual heat softens the butter.
  3. Layer the banana slices evenly across the peanut butter spread.
  4. Drizzle the honey in a zig-zag pattern over the fruit, then finish with a dusting of cinnamon and a sprinkle of chia seeds.
