Ingredients:

  • 1/2 tsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp honey or agave nectar
  • 4 oz silver tequila
  • 2 oz orange liqueur
  • 2 oz rich chocolate syrup
  • 1 cup frozen vanilla ice cream
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • 1 tbsp dark chocolate shavings
  • 2 fresh raspberries

Instructions:

  1. Mix the cocoa powder and sugar on a small appetizer plate.
  2. Apply a thin layer of honey or agave nectar to the rims of two margarita glasses, then press the rims into the cocoa-sugar mixture until evenly coated.
  3. Combine the silver tequila, orange liqueur, chocolate syrup, frozen vanilla ice cream, and ice cubes in a high-speed blender.
  4. Pulse on high until the mixture is completely smooth and reaches a consistent mahogany color and thick, soft-serve consistency.
  5. Pour the mixture evenly into the prepared glasses.
  6. Top with dark chocolate shavings and a fresh raspberry before serving.
