Ingredients:
- 2 cups unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1/8 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Combine the milk, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, and black pepper in a small saucepan over medium-low heat, whisking constantly to ensure spices integrate and do not clump.
- Once the milk begins to steam, whisk in the coconut oil and maple syrup. Simmer gently for 3–5 minutes until the liquid turns a deep, vibrant gold.
- Stir in the vanilla extract at the very end to preserve its aromatic oils.
- Place a fine-mesh strainer over two mugs and pour the mixture through to remove any spice clumps or residue.
