Ingredients:

  • 1 box (16 oz / 453g) Angel Food Cake Mix
  • 1 can (21 oz / 595g) Lemon Pie Filling

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your baking pan with non-stick spray or line it with parchment paper for a foolproof release.
  2. Empty the lemon pie filling into the large mixing bowl. Gradually add the angel food cake mix.
  3. Using your rubber spatula, gently fold the powder into the filling. Stop as soon as no dry streaks remain; the batter should look thick and slightly lumpy, not perfectly smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with your spatula.
  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes. The edges should be a pale mahogany-gold and pulling away slightly from the sides, and the center should spring back when lightly pressed.
