Ingredients:
- 1 cup (150g) frozen strawberries
- 1 medium (120g) frozen banana, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup (240ml) nonfat milk
- 1 tbsp (12g) turbinado sugar
- 1 scoop (30g) vanilla protein powder
Instructions:
- Load the blender ingredients in the following order to ensure a smooth vortex: first the nonfat milk, then the turbinado sugar and vanilla protein powder, and finally the frozen strawberries and banana on top.
- Start the blender on the lowest setting and quickly ramp up to high. Blend for 45–60 seconds until the color shifts from streaky pink to a consistent, pale, velvety rose.
- Stop the blender and check for frozen chunks with a spatula. If too thick, add milk 1 tablespoon (15ml) at a time. If too thin, add 2-3 more frozen strawberry halves and blend again until it reaches a thick, spoonable consistency.
