Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs party wings (flats and drumettes)
  • 1 tbsp aluminum-free baking powder
  • 1 tsp fine sea salt
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp granulated garlic
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup cayenne-based hot sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey

Instructions:

  1. Use paper towels to pat every wing bone-dry to ensure a crispy crust.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the wings with baking powder, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until evenly dusted.
  3. Arrange wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded for proper air circulation.
  4. Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook for 12 minutes.
  5. Flip each wing using tongs and cook for an additional 8 minutes until mahogany-colored and firm.
  6. While wings are cooking, whisk together melted butter, hot sauce, and honey in a clean bowl.
  7. Immediately transfer the hot wings from the air fryer into the glaze and toss quickly to coat.
